Delicious Mornings

Once you have conquered mornings, you need substance to help sustain or build your energy! These 2 recipes are my go-to breakfast that I pair together when I am on the run and need to eat. This shake and cookie is easy to make for your morning or snack. Protein has major delicious benefits. It keeps your skin, hair, and nails healthy…who doesn't want that??

Pineapple Strawberry Protein Smoothie

1/2 Cup of Frozen cubed pineapple
1/2 Cup of Frozen Strawberries
1 Scoop Arbonne Vanilla Protein Powder
1/3 cup of Almond Milk
1/4 Cup yogurt (optional)

Blend all the ingredients together. Add more liquid if you prefer a more liquid based shake.

Oatmeal Banana Protein Cookie

2 Very Ripe Bananas, mashed
1/2 Cup All Natural Smooth Peanut Butter
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
1/4 Cup Arbonne Protein Powder, Vanilla or Chocolate
1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Cups Quick Oats, uncooked
1/4 Cup Chocolate Chip (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, mix together mashed banana and peanut butter. Add apple sauce, protein powder, and vanilla extract. Mix until completely combined. Add oats to banana 1/2 cup at a time. Sprinkle chocolate chips onto dough and mix lightly. Let dough rest for approximately 5 minutes after all ingredients have combined. On a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper drop spoonfuls of dough. Press down dough lightly. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet and let cool before enjoying! Make these on the weekend to enjoy throughout the week.
Note: Some people chose not to add the apple sauce, but it add fiber and keeps the cookie moist without being rubbery.
